David was very accommodating and ready to help if anything came up. He was around to talk through any concerns, hear about my day, or discuss plans. Muchas Gracias David!! I stayed in the dorm, which was clean and comfortable, with a great view. We caught some lovely sunset colors one day. The shower worked great, the kitchen had everything I needed, and there was a TV and games room for hanging out indoors. The location was excellent, just down the block from the main square and close to all the best spots. Walk down the hill to the end for amazing views, and maybe grab a coffee from the cafe there. It's quiet and beautiful. There's a fruit store beside the hostel and tour agencies nearby. I did a coffee tour and was glad I did. Getting to Salento and the Cocora Valley was easy, and I also went to Armenia to visit other pueblos. I'd recommend staying here if you get the chance.

David, the receptionist and owner, made my stay memorable with his warmth and willingness to help whenever I had a request. He's a real, charismatic person who adds a human touch to the place. The hotel is just steps from the main plaza, where the Christmas lights are amazing. Thanks for the great service and for making my stay such a good one!

We added two extra nights because it was such a relaxing place to stay. The hostel is just a block from Central Park, where everything is happening, and there are plenty of comfortable spots to sit, read, or eat, including the open hallway and the deck out back. Upstairs, the dorm area has a big lounge with windows along two walls, a lovely place to watch the sunset. David Jaramillo, the owner, is caring and so kind. His big laugh is contagious. The whole place is kept beautifully, with thoughtful decor and spotless rooms. Our room was spacious, the beds and pillows were really comfortable, and there was a large TV. The shared bathroom had a roomy shower with a big rainfall head and very hot water. There’s also a well-stocked kitchen and a little eating nook. Highly recommend it.

Right in the center of Filandia, and a really good place to stay. David Jaramilo makes you feel welcome and helps however he can. The property is clean and has everything you need for a lovely visit.
