We used to be very happy with this hotel, but this visit may be my last. My parents came from the US to see us, and we drove all the way from Bogota after paying for 3 rooms. Only when we got there did we find out the main pool was closed for maintenance. The only notice was one tiny sentence at the very bottom of the booking page, even though the pool is the main attraction. They emailed us about their "pets policy" but never mentioned the pool closure. We also keep getting bitten all over by mosquitoes whenever we stay there. The mosquito problem has been going on for years and still hasn't been fixed.

The mosquitoes here are awful. After 3 years, they still haven't dealt with them, even though putting up mosquito traps shouldn't be hard.

The rooms are clean and fine, and the staff are kind and attentive. The pools are nice, but there isn't an actual pool bar. WiFi is unusable in the rooms. Breakfast is pretty poor, with eggs as the only hot protein, and it gets crowded, so the food runs out quickly.

Everyone there was really nice, but Mayerly, Luz and Blademir deserve a special thank you. They were always doing their best to make us feel comfortable. I travel a lot for work, and the service here made the stay feel completely different from other hotels. The hotel itself is very good too.
