Honda turned out to be a hidden gem. We loved the welcoming service and the boutique feel, without the fuss or boutique price.

Being right beside the market makes the location ideal, and the pool is a must in this heat. The staff are friendly and make the service personal. The hotel has some faults, though they seem in keeping with a lot of Colombia. I’d give the lounge area more attention and bring the bathrooms up to a higher standard. Still, it’s a real asset to this amazing town. Visit Honda and stay here, the two go well together.

The room decor and housekeeping had a few small issues, so there’s still some room to improve. But I enjoyed my stay in this cosy hotel. Check-in and checkout were smooth, breakfast was lovely, and the customer service was excellent. The location is spot on, too. I’ll come back.

You walk in and feel comfortable right away. The hotel has a special atmosphere, clearly put together with a lot of love. The employees were very nice, and the food was great. One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed in. A must-stay!

In Honda, a colonial town in Colombia’s hot central lowlands, Casa Belle Epoque spans the impressive River Magdalena. It’s an intimate, charming hotel with the best breakfast in town. The owner is very informative and can organize outdoor activities.
