I ordered a picada for two with Argentine and Spanish chorizo, morcilla, chicken, pork, and beef. The sausages were the only good part. I wouldn’t recommend it because the meat wasn’t tender.

The staff are nice, but they weren’t especially helpful, and the price is way too high. On my second stay, my motorcycle plates were stolen from the parking lot provided by the hotel. I’d recommend staying in Honda instead of La Dorada if you have the choice. What a dump. My Expedia room listing said it had a park view and a refrigerator. After check-in, I found it had neither. I was exhausted after a long ride and leaving very early the next morning, so I decided to put up with it.

A good stop on the way to Medellin. The free breakfast was delicious, and the rooms are comfortable with air conditioning. There isn’t a pool on site, though. The pool is 40 minutes away.

The hotel itself was nice and clean, but the parking lot they have a contract with was horrible. I left my motorcycle there and it was dropped and damaged. Neither the parking lot nor the hotel would take responsibility. I’m currently in a legal process against them, so unfortunately I can’t recommend this hotel.

My family and I stayed for a few days and generally had a good experience. The restaurant service was a real disappointment, though. Breakfast was included, but it always took about an hour to arrive. They need more workers.
