The owners and their family were so lovely to us. They did our laundry twice, and both times it came back quickly and perfectly clean. There’s a huge cat that looks like a panther, too 🐈⬛ We tried both the double room and the apartment. The apartment feels more rustic, while the double room is more modern and has AC. We liked the double room much more, and I’d definitely recommend it. It was super clean, with AC, a TV and a good bathroom. The quality for the price was excellent. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the city port. There are restaurants, a pizzeria and a supermarket just two minutes away, so you don’t have to go far if you don’t want to. The place is down a small alley, which felt safe and was quiet at night. There was a fridge in the room with 5 liters of water 👌

The rooms could do with a bit of updating. Still, the people were really friendly, and the area felt safe. It’s down a side lane, so traffic wasn’t something we could hear. There were loads of little birds in the trees around the balcony, and a big supermarket nearby made it easy to pick up beer or Coke and sit outside after our 4-day trek. Air conditioning was a plus.

The location wasn’t great, especially in how it looked. The rooms were small, but clean and practical, and the person renting them out was keen to help make the stay as comfortable as possible.

It was quiet, which you don’t get in the center, and the service was great. The bed was very large and comfortable, and the place was clean and close to the city center.
