Atardeceres del cafe

The shower was the biggest letdown. We had hot water for the first two days, but none on the third. Even when it worked, it was basically either scalding or cold, with no proper way to blend the temperature. The jacuzzi was clogged and got dirty fast because its filter hadn't been cleaned, so we had to call maintenance. There were three remotes but just one set of working batteries, which we had to move between them. Check-in and check-out were slow, and the WhatsApp chat asked us every day who we were and what room we were in, which got annoying since it's a small hotel and they already had my number. They didn't provide mattresses for the beach chairs. This is real glamping, so nature gets close. We had animals in the room, including large spiders, and the bathroom is completely open to the outside. We hadn't been told that beforehand, and some guests may want to know it in advance. Still, the property itself is stunning. We arrived on one of the last sunny days, and the sunshine made a great first impression. The place is beautiful and very well equipped, with a barbecue area, jacuzzi, and even a small bar for mixing your own drinks. They seem to have just about anything you might forget, from toothbrushes to other adult essentials. Room service was reasonably quick for us, the food was very good though it could've been warmer, and the staff were friendly throughout. It's a unique and lovely place with a lot of potential, but these ongoing maintenance and comfort problems need attention.
