The front desk was friendly and my room was clean, and there are some touristy things to see around this central location. But the neighborhood feels “maluco” at night, and the location pin was nowhere near the hotel. I thought I’d be staying in a better part of the city. The hotel is actually at 50 calle and 46 cra. There’s no parking, so you have to pay to park a few blocks away and walk back. They arrange for a security guy to go with you. The location is why I gave it three stars.

I arrived early on April 1st, after my stay had begun on March 31st and was due to run through April 6th. I’ve never been welcomed with such warmth and kindness at a hotel. The reception staff were cordial and helpful throughout, and the two women covering the morning, afternoon, and night shifts were especially great during the pandemic. They helped book tours, arrange food delivery during the 5:00 pm curfew, and answer phone calls. The rooms are nice, but the reception team’s service adds something special. I highly recommend this place.

The location is good, just two blocks from Parque Berrio metro station, and the reception staff were very friendly. It was clean, and the rooms were fair for the price. 5/5.
