Botánica Casa Hotel

I felt at home here, with a nice balance of coziness and privacy. Orquídea, Juan José and Nora were especially kind and went out of their way to make things comfortable. I was sick for a few days, and Orquídea checked on me and made tea. When I missed breakfast, Nora brought me something to eat. They did it all with smiles and such positive energy. I’m so grateful, I can hardly put it into words.

Getting around was easy, with buses, the metro and other transport close by. The hacienda-style home was spotless and well organized, with lots of thoughtful little details, and breakfast was generous and delicious every day. What really made the stay special was how attentive, friendly and professional everyone was. Thank you, Doña Vicky, Paola, Orquídea, Nora, July, and Juan, for all your care and kindness.

I spent about 4 nights here. The bed was comfortable, there were plenty of pillows, the room got cleaned daily with fresh towels, and I felt secure. It’s in a great location, you get your own front door key, and the water was warm. The power worked, though the lighting was dim. There’s no drinking water provided, but shops are nearby. The room was smaller than I expected and really only worked for me alone. Two people wouldn’t fit. It’s quiet when you’re the only guest, but once others arrive, you hear them. There are holes above the door, presumably for ventilation, so there’s basically no soundproofing. You can hear everything outside the room, so bring earplugs just in case. Visitors aren’t allowed. It felt more like a hostel, with a shared living room and dining area. I’d rather have a bigger, more private hotel room, especially since the cost wasn’t much different. I think I’ll choose a hotel next time.

Our room was quite noisy, which made sleep a bit difficult. Still, the team made the experience amazing, and the room was super clean with an amazing breakfast. A big thanks to Orquídea for being so helpful and making our stay even better.
