I only stayed for a few hours and was prepared to pay the one-day charge for two rooms, but the Hotel wouldn’t refund the remaining three days. That was terrible customer service. The building was noisy, with street sounds, people on the stairs, and the bell ringing. Both rooms smelled musty, and one had mold on the ceiling. With my allergies, I would have gotten sick if I’d stayed there overnight.

The room was hardly ready when we arrived, and there were insects and cockroaches everywhere. Black mold in the rooms is a serious health hazard. The staff were so rude they called the police on my friend and accused him of being in the country illegally, even though he has a visa. In the middle of the night, they let police into his room, where he was raided without a warrant. Inexcusable conduct and unacceptable living conditions. Stay away.

I left after just one night. The sheets were stained, the bathroom was filthy, and the kitchen couldn’t be used. The whole place was dirty and smelled awful, with rats and cockroaches around. Staff didn’t care. A terrible hostel, avoid it.

The rooms are moldy, which is concerning for health reasons. They also have a no-guest policy, which feels weird.

The location is good, but the room wasn’t ready on time and the staff had an attitude. The place is incredibly basic. It could suit you if you want to save money, need a private bathroom, and want to stay in backpacker central, as long as rude staff and sleeping just about anywhere don’t bother you.
