There are dogs and cats around the hostel, and they’re very friendly if you like animals. We had a private room with a roomy bathroom, plus several nice shared spaces where we could work outside our room. The kitchen was well equipped, and the owner offered coffee in the morning. The owner can be particular about some things, so be sure to follow the hostel rules.

Affordable and comfortable place to stay after a concert. The stadium is just a three-minute walk away.

We didn’t feel welcome at all, and the owner was rude to us the whole time. Looking at reviews from the past five years, it seems others have raised concerns about how she treats customers too. The hostel itself has plenty of space, our room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Her behavior really made it an awful experience, and needs improvement.

There’s lots of space, and it’s quiet and peaceful if that’s what you’re after. The location is nice too. But be careful with the owner. She seems friendly until you do something she doesn’t like, then she snaps. I tried making tea before bed and she told me not to, saying I was too noisy, though I wasn’t. One of her hammocks had a hole, and when it ripped further as I sat down, she made me pay for it. I felt embarrassed and offended. There are plenty of better hostels nearby, so I wouldn’t choose this one.

Silvia, the owner, seemed really nice at first. I later heard her speaking badly about other guests, and then she made me leave the facilities without explaining why. She watches everything you do, so I never felt comfortable there.
