We liked the rooftop bar, both for drinks one evening and for the delicious breakfast. Our room was modern, clean, and quiet, even on a weekend when people outside were rowdy. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. It was a great hotel for our first trip to Medellín, and I'd absolutely recommend it to couples or small groups staying in El Poblado.

The rooftop has a wonderful view, and the hotel itself is beautiful, sophisticated, and seductive. Since it's small and intimate, the staff know you by name. Victor, Juan, and Angelica looked after us and were top notch. The location in Poblano was close to everything, yet tucked away enough to feel private. When we return to Medellin, we'll stay at El Zarzo again.

The rooftop bar was a favorite after a long day, especially with Julian & Julian making the best drinks. Vanessa gave us excellent service at breakfast, and Felipe w/ the mustache and Mariana at the desk were awesome, along with everyone else. The hotel was very clean and the service was excellent. It was a little noisy, but bearable. We had an amazing stay and will choose Hotel El Zarzo on our next trip to Medellin.

We were there for a long weekend as a couple and would come back in a heartbeat. The rooftop bar was fantastic, and the service was excellent. It's a small boutique hotel just off a busy street, but lush vegetation makes it feel tucked away. Nights were quiet, and it never felt too crowded. Everything was clean.

We arrived in the middle of the night, and the staff helped arrange transportation. They were also quick to respond on WhatsApp. The room was comfortable and very clean, and the welcome drinks at the amazing rooftop bar, one free breakfast, and late checkout were all great perks. The location was close to Provenzia but far enough away from the nightlife to stay peaceful, and about a 20 minute walk from the metro. Everything at Hotel El Zarzo was wonderful. I'd definitely recommend staying here in Medellin.
