We arrived expecting two rooms for two nights, but the receptionist insisted we pay separately, saying Booking.com had been paid instead of the hotel. Then he claimed only one room was available, even though Booking.com had let us reserve two. The more we tried to explain and ask for both rooms, the more irritated he got. In the end, he said he could see the reservation but still wouldn't give us a key because there were no rooms free. Poor service and a poor receptionist. A terrible welcome to Medellin. It's 22:00 here and we have nowhere to sleep. Thank you, Nutibara, for showing us the worst side of service.

The building looks okay from outside, and I love the location right in the heart of downtown, with everything between you and it. The front desk staff aren't so nice, and the rooms could use a little upgrading. Still, I'll definitely go back.

The staff were really kind and helpful, and the location makes it easy to explore Medellin. Once outside, though, the city center is full of homeless people and drug addicts, including people overdosing, as well as vendors selling everything from fruit and clothes to fresh drinks and snacks. The beds are SUPER hard. After two nights my back was completely messed up, and I have no idea how I'll manage nine nights on one. The shower and toilets are tiny, kid-size small.
