The only real downside was the noise at night, every night. The walls are thin, and noisy guests dragged chairs, slammed doors, and talked loudly in the corridors. Otherwise, the stay was very enjoyable. The staff were outstanding, courteous, professional, and always willing to help. My room was clean and comfortable with a wonderful view, and breakfast had a superb range of fresh, local food. The hotel is inside a commercial center with restaurants, shops, a supermarket, health services, and more, so the location was ideal.

Espiritu on the top floor was a definite 10. The breakfast spread was generous, with lots of different foods and plenty of good coffee. The rooms and dining areas were spotless, and the staff were professional while still being warm and kind. Novotel was a great choice for our Medellin visit, and I’d highly recommend it.

Having a shopping mall connected to the hotel made the stay especially convenient, with restaurants and shops just steps away. We were treated kindly and professionally, and the room was great, with a modern, roomy bathroom, comfortable bedding, and amazing views down over the city and Comunas. This hotel really made a difference to our stay.

The city views are the biggest draw here, especially around sunrise and sunset. The rooms are bright, clean, and spacious, and the whole place feels modern and thoughtfully put together. Breakfast had plenty of fresh choices, while the common spaces worked well for relaxing or making content. You’re near restaurants, shopping, and the main parts of El Poblado, but the hotel still feels peaceful. Service was friendly and professional from check-in through check-out. I’d happily stay at Novotel Medellín again, and recommend it for the comfort, service, and views.

Everyone we encountered was accommodating, from the people directing traffic outside to the entrance, front desk, breakfast, and cleaning teams. Their kindness felt genuine, and it made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived.
