The Charlee Hotel

The view from our 11th-floor room was breathtaking, and the room itself was beautiful and comfortable. I loved the hotel and would definitely stay again. It was spotless and smelled lovely throughout, with housekeeping coming each day to clean, mop, change the bedding, and restock the amenities. The location puts you right in the middle of the city, with nightlife, restaurants, and bars an easy walk away. There are prostitutes outside at night, as is common in this part of the city, but the area still felt safe. Police patrolled regularly, and people around there were generally friendly. Everyone on staff was welcoming. The bartenders, Sebastian and Juan, stood out as especially friendly and personable. Breakfast was just okay, while lunch, dinner, and drinks were amazing. I had a late-night flight, and for a fee the hotel let me extend checkout past 1 PM, which was really convenient and appreciated.

The Charlee Hotel is stylish, lively, and right in the heart of El Poblado. The views, amenities, and overall vibe were all incredible, but the staff made the stay memorable. Everyone I met was friendly, attentive, and seemed genuinely invested in making guests feel at home. From check-in through checkout, the team had great suggestions, responded quickly, and kept a positive attitude. The front desk, housekeeping, and rooftop staff at Envy all treated me with care and professionalism. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Medellín.

The whole concierge team helped make the stay better, and Jessica in particular was warm, professional, and attentive from the moment we arrived. That kind of service really sets a hotel apart. I stayed at The Charlee Hotel with my partner for my Bad Bunny concert, and the welcome and service were excellent from the start. The hotel is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, with an upscale feel that’s still comfortable. The area has lively nightlife, but the rooms are well soundproofed, and earplugs are provided for extra comfort. The location is great for restaurants, nightlife, and shopping. Mauricio, Anderson, and Jessica were especially helpful and went above and beyond to make everything easy and enjoyable. I’d recommend the hotel to anyone visiting.
