At Wandering Paisa Medellín, it was easy to meet people, but the place was still calm enough to rest. The staff were attentive and happy to help with tours, recommendations, or whatever else we needed. The rooms and common areas were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, with a welcoming, safe feel. Conversations came easily, and I left with new friends and great memories. The warm welcome made it feel like home, and the hostel captures the spirit of the city. I’d happily come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Medellín who wants a fun, authentic, community-minded place to stay.

During my two nights at Wandering Paisa, the staff and maintenance crew were easygoing, and the weekly language exchange and karaoke gave me a chance to meet cool people. It’s in a prime spot for nightlife, with shops and street vendors close by. The kitchen felt small for a hostel of this size, which matters if you like to cook. WiFi on the second floor was unreliable, so I had to use the ground floor when I needed a good connection. I’d stay again if the price were reasonable, because the location is worth it.

The friendly, clean atmosphere and good security make The Wandering Paisa one of the safest places to stay in Medellín. There are cameras, and the staff are employees, not volunteers. The community kitchen has proper cookware, not cheap or broken stuff, and there’s a bar too. I can’t recommend this place enough for a savvy traveler. ☔

The location is great and the staff are friendly. There’s a language exchange every Thursday night. It works well for solo travelers, and couples or older folks like me can book private rooms with big beds and bathrooms.
