The room was really comfortable, and the hot shower was great. I loved the unusual decor, the tasty food and drinks, and how welcoming Niall was. It’s right in central Minca, with a shady path leading down to the river. We had such a lovely stay and will be back soon!
For 100,000 pesos a night, this felt too expensive. The shared spaces were dirty, the beds weren't good quality, and the advertised hot shower didn't work. The location is central in minca, near the river. The rooms look out over a small river at the back, though there’s no mountain view.
The new owner is very friendly and helpful, and is working to get the place into better shape. The rooms are a good size, and some have balconies overlooking the river. There’s still work to do, though: shared areas need more regular cleaning, and the decor in general could use improvement.
Stay away from Nyall, the drunken Irish man who sits outside. He says he’s a tour guide, but he is NOT. He'll scam you however he can and then disappear. He's a menace to society. DO NOT ENGAGE!
