Hotel Florida Sinú

The free breakfast at the connected restaurant was great, and the hotel looks really nice. The staff were professional and the service was great. One small thing: the TVs only have cable, so you can’t sign into Netflix or other streaming services, though that may matter more to some guests than it did to me. The sauna takes a long time to heat up, so set its timer an hour ahead. It only reached 160°F when I used it, though it needs to be around 170°F for the detoxification to really get going.

We stayed four nights in the Presidential Suite, and the pool and hot tub were really nice and clean. Edwin gave us a button to ring for poolside cocktails, which was a great touch. Housekeeping came daily, and the front desk, restaurant, and pool staff were all very attentive.

I arrived around midnight, and check-in was genuinely charming. The rooms are perfectly decent, with air conditioning, a fridge, hot water, cable TV, and good Wi-Fi. Breakfast is a little basic, but it’s served in a lovely pavilion with a huge ventilator. Great hotel for the price. I’d highly recommend it.

The pool was enchanting, with a perfect size and depth, and coming back from our morning walks to clean, cool rooms was lovely. We spent 9 of our 16 vacation days at this hotel, and everything there felt clean and pleasant, from the restaurant and rooms to the staff. Breakfast was delicious too. It may seem a little far away, but Florida Sinú is a million times better than the one at the mall. I’d stayed there twice before because we didn’t know about Florida Sinú. We wouldn’t go back to that other place now. Better hotel, better service than any other hotel. WONDERFUL!!
