Hotel Casa Alpha

It's clean, the AC works well, and the location is okay if you don't need to be near the old town. But we were woken each day when staff knocked on our door around 8:15 and rudely told us to come down, even though breakfast was supposed to run until 9. That felt very unprofessional. The shower had no hot water at all. They advertised a fully equipped kitchen on booking.com, but at check-in we were told we could use the breakfast kitchen. It had only a stove, with no way to light it and no pots, cutlery, chopping board, fridge, kettle, or microwave. Luckily, after we asked again for a way to make dinner, another staff member let us use the staff kitchen. We also had to find a staff member to open the gate whenever we wanted to enter or leave. I'm not sure how safe that is if there's an emergency and you need to get out.

My sister and I really liked this place. It was clean, in a good residential neighborhood, and just a five-minute walk from both the airport and the beach. We felt safe walking with our luggage to and from the airport. Luz was accommodating, and Ricardo was friendly and introduced us to his pets, whom we fell in love with. We explored the neighborhood on foot and found lots of convenience stores, affordable restaurants, and other food nearby. There's also a bike route. Highly recommend it if you want to stay near the airport.

It felt like home: the place was clean and tidy, the hospitality was lovely, and breakfast was great. The location is excellent, just a three-minute walk from the airport, and the price is so good for the facilities. The owner is super nice, and the workers, Desiré and Luz, are sweet and welcoming. Definitely recommend!

I got in late in the evening, so this hostel was ideal, just a short walk from the airport. The room is basic but clean, and you need to ring the bell to get through the locked front entrance, which made it feel safe. Breakfast was simple and good, and the beach is also a short walk away.
