Hotel Sites Monteria

I loved how close everything was, and the clean room and fantastic service made for a great stay in Monteria. Breakfast wasn't the best, if I'm honest. I'm likely to be back in Monteria soon and will definitely stay here again.

We planned on staying two days, ended up staying four, and wished we could've stayed longer. Everyone was so lovely and made such an effort to make us comfortable, from reception and the restaurant and bar to the cleaning staff. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The ceviche was tasty, and the chicharonzs with humus were a real discovery. Breakfast was varied and high quality, and the fruit was always perfectly ripe. You could taste the care the chefs put into the cooking. The hotel sits near the main road but off it, so it's pretty calm. The neighbourhood is clean, with lots of restaurants within walking distance, and InDriver works in Monteria, making it easy to get a cheap taxi. The room and facilities were exceptionally clean. The pool isn't big, but there are lanes and you can swim. You can hear the neighbours quite well through the room walls, which is the one thing that wasn't perfect. That's pretty common in Colombia, though, and we had no hard feelings given how much the staff did to accommodate us.

There are restaurants, groceries, coffee, and bars right by this comfortable, modern hotel. After unpacking, I never needed to leave the corner. My room was spotless and really comfortable. I was only there one night, but would've liked to stay longer.

A great stay in an amazing city. Definitely worth it.
