The desk staff were friendly, and although I barely speak Spanish, I managed to get a room where I could sleep. I’m not sure if it was just the room I was assigned, but it was a big group. It’s definitely tropical living: there was only a bed sheet, so I used my coat as a blanket.

Breakfast wasn’t served until 9 a.m. because the woman who cooks leaves, so we couldn’t have any. They gave us a room with a king bed, but it was the same size as the other rooms and there was barely space to walk around. The bathroom was terrible. The shower was attached to a column, with the showerhead on the wall and no room to use it properly. The whole layout felt backwards, from the towel rack and toilet paper holder to the closet. The windows looked onto the hallway, so we couldn’t open the curtains. It’s described as a rural building, yet it’s three stories tall.

I only tried the restaurant. The decor is beautiful, the menu has plenty of variety, and the food was delicious. One suggestion: check which dishes are actually available before taking customers’ orders. Still, it was a good experience...

We felt right at home and really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful place. A big thank you for the excellent service, especially to the receptionist, who paid such close attention to everything we needed. I highly recommend this hotel!

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the place was quiet, surrounded by nature despite being near the center of Palmira. My only issue was that the shower had no hot water.
