What stood out most was the staff. Everyone was friendly, professional, helpful, and knowledgeable, and they took time to make sure our needs were met. They made us feel safe and comfortable. The restaurant was pretty good, and the free breakfast was simple but filling, with fresh juice, coffee, milk, chocolate milk, arepas, bread, eggs, pineapple, cantaloupe, cereal, and yogurt. They made eggs to order. The location worked well for us, near ATMs, restaurants, bars, shops, and cafes, and taxis could drop us at the private garage. The decor was lovely in most areas, the hotel was clean and in good repair, and the beds weren't too hard, with plenty of blankets and pillows. We did have some issues, but none felt big enough to mention to staff. The showerhead was broken, so it felt like showering under a hose, and the hot water pressure kept changing, meaning we had to adjust the valve every few minutes. Outside vehicles and people in the dining area made nights and mornings noisy, so we needed earplugs. The temperature was also inconsistent: two nights were comfortable, but one was too hot. The service made up for the hotel's flaws.
