I’ve never stayed somewhere this noisy. It felt like I was sleeping right out on the street. The shower was horrible, with no hot water or pressure, and after two nights my back felt so lumpy that I think I need a chiropractor. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it, although the staff were nice. You have to ring the bell to get in and out. They keep your room key when you leave, so each time you go out you need someone to let you back in. It’s a bit of a nuisance.

I’ve been staying at Ciudad Bonita for 10 years, and it keeps getting better. The rooms are roomy, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the whole hotel is spotless. There are thoughtful little details everywhere that show how much care the team puts in. The office spaces are comfortable and well equipped, which is handy if you need to work during your stay. What makes me want to come back most is the staff. Everyone is warm, attentive, and ready to help, and they make you feel at home. I’d happily return again and recommend it.

The rooms are very clean, and there are comfortable spaces for coworking or business meetings. The staff’s service stands out, with a constant focus on giving guests a good experience. It’s also well placed for getting around the city, close to the airport and bus terminal. Worth considering when you visit Popayán.
