The breakfast area was clean, breakfast had three choices, and the wifi was good. Our room and bathroom were clean, with nice towels, soap, and shampoo. We slept very well despite facing the main street, and the bedding was nice. The receptionist recommended a restaurant we really liked, and when we got back, someone at reception offered us coffee, which we accepted. At check-in we arrived during a shift change, so the woman helping us was rushing to leave. Our room had no AC and the window wouldn't open, so we asked for a fan and were given one. The shower door was hard to open and close and needed maintenance. Our friends in room 202 had a much worse night because their bed had a dip in it. Aside from their bad mattress, our stay was good. Check the bed before you settle in.

We were already outside the hotel, sitting in the Uber, when they charged us for a supposedly missing towel. The staff had already authorized us to leave, so I consider the charge unjustified. To me, it was theft. When we went back up to check, the towels weren't even in the room anymore. They need to pay closer attention to their employees, because the service was deplorable. We never made a reservation, and there weren't four of us. They also hadn't told us there was dampness on the ceiling and on the walls inside the closet. Breakfast being included and it being high season have nothing to do with my complaint, which isn't about the hotel's price. I'm complaining that employees are stealing from customers, and that shouldn't be allowed. Given the response I received, I have no choice but to begin legal proceedings. I don't like being robbed.
