The room felt a little warm for us since we're used to air conditioning, but a fan was enough to sleep. Getting there at night was a bit tricky, though Google Maps got us there fine. We loved the lush greenery and well-kept gardens, and breakfast came with a breathtaking view and hummingbirds flitting around. Waking up to birdsong and that view was unforgettable. We enjoyed every minute. I'll miss Nala, the best host ever.

We came as a group of 13 and there was nobody available to serve food. The yard was neglected, the rooms were basic at best, and just two staff members were there to help across half the hotel's spaces. When we asked for a refund, they refused. We then asked for a manager, but they couldn't reach one, so we left without a refund. It was a terrible first experience in this part of Colombia.

Camila, the manager at Mucho Sur Hotel, and Ofelia, who looks after the rooms, were so kind and committed. Their caring, service-minded approach made us feel at home. The service here is excellent, and I highly recommend staying here.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and there's a beautiful waterfall about a 15-minute walk away. The finca itself is lovely, in a great area, and has all kinds of luxuries, including a swimming pool.
