Good for the price, though the place still isn't finished.

The hostel staff were friendly and attentive, and helped us with everything we needed. The rooms look really nice, but they weren't very clean. The neighborhood also felt quite dangerous. Nobody warns tourists about that before they arrive. Nothing happened to us, but guests should be told. Apart from those issues, everything was great.

I wouldn't come back or recommend this place. I relied on the other reviews and that was a big mistake. It's incredibly far from the center, and cleaning only happens when staff have time, often after 5 pm and not every day. The kitchen is barely equipped: three forks, two spoons, no cups, and nothing comfortable for cooking or serving food. Everyone has to share those few items.

The hosts were lovely and welcomed us warmly. As the days went by, they checked how we were feeling and whether we needed anything. Check-in and check-out were flexible, and the reception was pretty unusual, haha, but nice. The place itself is good, with a microwave and refrigerator if you want to make your own food. There are nearby supermarkets, êxito and D1, but I didn't like either; I much preferred super todo. It was all pretty relaxed. The main beach isn't that far, and we walked there the first day since we had no transport. Later we rented a little motorbike and getting around was really easy, everywhere was quick to reach. If you're on a motorbike, you can park it inside, though I don't think there's room for a car. One downside: there's a soccer field on the back street. If you're staying on a weekend, good luck, haha. It gets really noisy depending on which room you're in.
