I checked in earlier today and have already been disappointed enough to write a review while still here. The room is very dated, which I could live with, but the shower water is freezing and basically unusable. At first the front desk said that in a “standard room” I couldn’t adjust the temperature. That was surprising and unacceptable. I returned twice more to sort it out. Only on the third visit did they offer another room, but by then they said they were fully booked and couldn’t move me. I also asked for an extra towel and was told I’d have to wait until the next day. A towel should be a simple thing to provide at a hotel. So I’m stuck without a warm shower, and the way they handled it made the whole situation more frustrating. Those are basic expectations whatever kind of room you book. Very disappointing so far.

Everything is close by, right in the middle of the island’s activity. The front desk ladies were kind, attentive, and quick to respond. Breakfast and the dining room are a real plus, especially when you can look out at the seven-color sea while eating.

The rooms were great, but they didn’t let me rest. People with speakers were out on the street every day of the week, and the hotel staff did nothing. What’s the point of a room if you can’t get some sleep? I don’t recommend this hotel.

This is about their cancellation policy. We had a reservation but couldn’t stay because we got COVID. Even after we provided the test results and a doctor’s letter, they refused any kind of refund. During the pandemic, that was contrary to industry practices. If you book here, use a credit card with trip cancellation insurance. Otherwise, skip it.

The hotel is good in general, though the infrastructure is clearly quite old. Some staff members were impolite, and there are security concerns, at least with the elevators.
