Posada Villa Verde

Tracy, Roberto, and Brent made us feel at home throughout our stay. They were welcoming and helpful, and shared lots of useful island tips, including places to visit, beaches, restaurants, and local advice that made the trip better. Villa Verde was peaceful, well maintained, clean, and thoughtfully arranged for comfort. Everything exceeded what we expected, and the facilities were beautiful. We’d absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island.

Brent and Tracy were incredibly warm and generous, and went out of their way to make sure everything was right. You can tell they care about guests and take pride in the experience. Villa Verde had a great atmosphere, thoughtful details, and felt like a real home away from home from the moment I arrived. I can’t recommend it enough. The comfort, good energy, and outstanding hosts made this an incredible stay, and I’ll definitely be back!

The owners and management are what make this place special. They’re kind, professional, and clearly care about guests having a good stay. The property was very clean, with fresh bedding, tidy rooms, and a kitchen stocked with what you need. It also felt safe, with a fence and locked gate. The location is quiet and tucked away, great for escaping the noise and recharging. There’s an awesome pool, hammocks for lazy afternoons, One Love Bar just down the street, and a nearby market for anything you need. A wonderful place to unwind and breathe for a while. I’ll be back.

Villa Verde has space for just about any kind of downtime: poolside, BBQs on the outdoor patio, hammocks, tropical fruit trees in the lush garden, the yard dogs, or a book in the living room. The owners were helpful, and the rooms and bathrooms were clean, with hot water in the showers. I felt safe walking around alone as a woman, and the locals were friendly. One Love, the island’s best beachside bar, is an easy walk away, and you can watch sunrise or sunset from the beach. Public transport or taxis make a night out in the center easy to arrange, but this side of the island offers a more relaxed, authentic experience.
