The beach here is beautiful, which makes the area just about worth staying in, though £67/$90 a night feels steep for what you get. The apartment was decent, with a comfortable room and a really welcoming, friendly owner. Hot water seems to be lacking across the island, so that's not specific to these apartments. The WiFi was quite slow.

You won't find this kind of view downtown. Luz, the building manager, was accommodating and helped us arrange our trip to the aquarium, plus mopeds and go-karts. Downtown isn't far, and the bus costs 2400 Colombian pesos. Just keep in mind the bus service in one direction ends around 9 pm.

Sound Bay Beach stayed uncrowded and seemed popular with locals. The location right beside the beach was great. We were glad there was an outdoor shower, since the upstairs apartment had very weak water pressure.

Right on the beach, and everyone was so friendly and helpful. I had a fantastic stay and can't wait to come back! 🏝️☀️🌊☺️☺️

We stayed in the second-floor studio, which had an ocean view. It was comfortable and really nice. 100% recommended.
