Divanga Hostel

I had a fantastic time at Divanga Hostel while completing my open water PADI certification. The dive course was well organized, and Edgar was a flawless instructor, with great English and a really good manner. Lucy, the host, was professional and made the whole stay feel first class. The food and Wi-Fi were great too, along with everything else. I couldn’t recommend the dive center more, so don’t hesitate to book through them.

This was our favorite place to stay in Colombia. It’s reasonably priced, so don’t expect anything fancy, but there’s a lovely pool, a good restaurant, and decent help with excursions. The kitchen is open for all three meals, and you can also cook for yourself. There are some nice spots to hang out, and the atmosphere is good.

A great base for exploring Taganga, with a friendly atmosphere that makes it easy to meet other travelers. The hostel felt safe, the common areas were clean and beautiful, and the rooms were lovely. The staff were really kind and helpful, and I had an amazing stay. Highly recommend!

The owner was kind to deal with, though I can’t say the same about the receptionist. The payment setup was a mess: paying for both the accommodation and food was difficult, and when I checked out, I’d been overcharged by hundreds of dollars. Getting the refund sorted out was chaotic, took days to arrange, and cost a lot of time. A very disappointing experience.
