The hosts, Maríanela and Jaime, really made the difference. They know Santa Marta and the surrounding area inside out, and their advice was honest and useful, whether you’re trying to save money, see the popular sights, or find quieter local spots. They can also put you in touch with reliable tour providers, which helps you feel at ease and avoid scams. The hostel is clean, organized, easy to find, and conveniently located for getting around. It has air conditioning, which is a big plus in this city. Bathrooms are outside the rooms, but that works well, especially in shared rooms, since it cuts down on noise and makes the space more comfortable. I had a really great stay and would definitely recommend it. It’s a well-run place with a welcoming atmosphere.

It was a calm, pleasant stay, and the hostel was flexible when we needed to change our reservation. I also had online work to finish, and the desk in our room and very reliable wifi made that easy.

I felt at home even though I was far from home. Mrs. Marianela was lovely and helpful, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, very clean, and well located. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean and had everything you need. The area isn’t too good if you arrive late, but you’re very close to “La Bahia,” museums, and restaurants and party places just two blocks away. I truly recommend this hostel.

We only came across this hostel because we needed another night in the tayrona area, and we weren’t expecting much from either the city or the place. We ended up loving it and stayed a couple of extra nights. The owners were so friendly that we felt at home straight away. If you want good company and an awesome experience, don’t miss it. Thanks so much for having us!
