The location is handy, just a block from the main park, plaza Bolívar, and close to a money exchange. The place is nice, and the wifi worked very well.

I didn't stay at Hotel Alicante, but they were kind enough to help me find a hotel. That was a big difference from Hotel San Francisco, which cancelled my reservation without any warning. Hotel Alicante provided excellent assistance and service.

The Boyacá province photos around the place caught my interest. You can read a little about each one, which gives it a distinctive feel. I also found the rooms clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged, with excellent bathrooms. The staff were pleasant, and everything was set up well for visitors. A very welcoming place, and one I'd recommend.

It's a very central spot near Plaza de Bolivar, and the hotel itself is lovely. The staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfast isn't included, but you can get it there if you want. Mine was varied and delicious, cost $15,000, and there's a French press coffee station.

The breakfast felt so thoughtful and homey, unlike anything I've had at another hotel. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, though I did wish there were a desk for working. Since the hotel is in central Tunja, it's easy to walk to different tourist spots. If you're after a friendly, home-like stay in Tunja, I'd choose this place.
