A clean, simple room in a quiet spot, with the plaza close by.
8/10
The owner is very considerate and wants guests to have a good stay. This is a simple, nearly family-run guesthouse, with clean, comfortable beds and a pleasant dining room overlooking the garden. There’s no parking. One problem if you make your own breakfast: kitchen use ends at 8 am, and the manager will practically kick you out after that, which can spoil the stay.
10/10
The bathrooms and beds are especially comfortable, and everything is very clean. It’s a great place near the main square. There’s no parking, though you can leave your vehicle in front of the hostel, where it’s safe.
10/10
About two blocks from Villa de Leyva’s main square, this hostel stays peaceful even when the tourist crowds are in town. It feels welcoming and family-run, with a charming garden that brings you close to nature. The rooms are comfortable and have a private bathroom, cable TV, and Wi-Fi. Breakfast is included, too.

The inner courtyard was lovely, and the location was excellent, in a very quiet area. There were five of us, and our cozy room had two separate areas with four beds. We also really enjoyed the breakfast.
