My friends and I came to Villa de Leyva for the kites festival for the first time, and stayed at this beautiful place. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the hot water worked, and breakfast was delicious. The girl at the front desk was always very helpful. It’s close to everything.

A cool place in Villa de Leyva, with a nice courtyard and a good vibe. The beds were comfortable, but the showers didn’t always have steady hot water. Wifi wasn’t great, though it worked decently. Sometimes the toilet lids were missing. Still, a nice place.

The staff were very friendly and kept trying to sort out every problem. We asked to change rooms, but the hotel was full for New Year’s and that wasn’t possible. Their efforts helped keep the issues from ruining our stay. I’d suggest checking that rooms are ready before guests arrive, especially after what happened in the bathroom. I’d stayed here years ago and everything was fine, but this visit went wrong. The bathroom window was missing a pane, so people outside could see in. There was no bathroom mirror, the sink leaked and left the floor wet, and there was no hot water. Upstairs, someone left a tap running, and water came through the ceiling and soaked one of the beds.
