We’ve stayed at Uva Blue twice and absolutely love it. The casita is beautifully built and decorated, the gardens are spectacular, and the beds are very comfortable. The location is ideal, close to gorgeous beaches and near enough to enjoy Puerto Viejo’s nightlife. Some of our favorite restaurants and a really nice grocery store are within walking distance. Thanks, Peter and Lico. We’re looking forward to coming back soon.

I felt completely at peace here. The room was a real escape from anything that might disturb my peace of mind, and Peter was incredibly kind and understanding. The location is perfect, just a five-minute walk to the beach, with food and groceries along the way. I’ll stay here again when I return.

The pool was under a roof, so there wasn’t much chance for sunlight to get in and we felt a bit trapped. Apart from that, the rooms were clean and spacious, with large bathrooms, and the kitchen was well equipped. The rooms were nice and big.

The cabina is beautiful, with a backyard area and restaurants close by. The host lives on the property and is always available to help. I’d definitely book again.

The grounds were full of beautiful creatures, and I especially liked hearing the birds while running in the mornings. The lodging is wonderfully close to the beach and has a great jungle feel. Lico and the rest of the management were easy to reach and helped with everything I needed. What a great experience. I’d definitely return if I found myself in Costa Rica again.
