From our superior room we could look down over the garden, which was great for spotting birds. The bed was comfortable, and the staff were so friendly. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Margarita.

When I left something behind, the welcoming staff went out of their way to arrange for it to be sent to San Jose. We had a great stay, and they were especially helpful with that.

We loved the pool and would happily stay here again. Our room looked out toward the beach, with a great view for watching birds, and the beach was about a five-minute walk away. The food was delicious, and chef Dixon has excellent taste. The staff were friendly, respectful, and really helpful. Mauricio was great with us, and they’re pet friendly too. I forgot my phone, but they returned it.

We had breakfast here a few times, and the chef made a cracking omelet. Everyone we met was friendly, chatty, and helpful. The town is small, so everything is close by, and the beach is at most a five-minute walk. Our large double room was super clean, had air conditioning, and came with huge, comfortable beds. The jungle view was cool, and it wasn’t too noisy. I’d stay here again next time I visit Drake Bay.
