I keep coming back to this place, and I've already visited four times. It's a three-minute walk to the beach, with the jungle right across the way, plus four en suite bathrooms and two outdoor kitchens. That setup is perfect for a big family or a trip with friends. There were new owners as of June 2019, and they've been making safety and comfort updates with lots of care. It already feels magical again, and they're still working on it. Photos of the new furniture and flooring should be ready to post soon. The location is hard to beat.

The showers are great, but the rest of the place could use some care. It seems the ownership changed recently. The kitchen needs an upgrade, and the rooms could use fresh bedding and a deep clean. It's okay as it is.

The kitchen had plenty of equipment, but the rooms felt quite old and had a bit of a strange smell. Hot water was promised, but we didn't get it. It wasn't awful, though it wasn't great either.

Cara is a really warmhearted guy, and there are nice walks nearby in the refugio silvestre. The place itself feels very relaxed.

Friendly people, especially Dwayne and Omar, and a fair price. It's close to manzanillo jungle, with a chill jungle feel and great amenities :)
