Nosara Beach Hostel

Nosara is a quirky, low-key surfing town, and this is a lovely place to stay when visiting. The beautiful beach is only a three-minute walk away, and the peaceful surroundings and comfortable rooms made for a soothing stay. We were there in December, a quiet time, but the plentiful staff still went out of their way to help with anything. They were outstanding. The restaurant's food was excellent at both breakfast and dinner, though breakfast could have been more plentiful and less restrictive.

We enjoyed every meal here, especially breakfast, and the restaurant's food was excellent. Our room was spacious and clean, and the staff were kind and attentive throughout. Olas Verdes set a very high bar for welcoming hospitality and customer service. I also appreciated how seriously they take conservation as a LEED Platinum building. We're already making plans to come back.

The beach is just a few steps away, and the fresh food at the restaurant was delicious after time at the beach or surfing. I loved the hotel's care for the environment, too. They gave us reusable bottles to refill with fresh water instead of plastic ones. Hotel Olas Verdes is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and has a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the friendly staff were genuinely happy to help. I'd recommend Olas Verdes in Nosara for a restful stay and would happily return.

We're here now, and Louis, the owner, has gone out of his way to make our large young family comfortable. The housekeeping staff, facilities, and food are world class, and the location is just a beach path away from the best beach in the world. Olas Verdes feels like a hidden gem people keep to themselves because they love it so much, and it's great value. I'll always recommend it to my friends. I'm forever grateful. Pura Vida.
