Tierra Magnifica Boutique Hotel

The restaurant is a real highlight: excellent food, a tasty menu breakfast, and fantastic cocktails. Evenings feel magical, and people from other hotels sometimes come over just for dinner, drinks, and the spectacular sunset. Tierra Magnifica Boutique Hotel has a unique atmosphere, and we’d absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Nosara who wants a peaceful boutique stay with beautiful views. Special thanks to Joshuan, Fernanda, Brian, Daniel and Ian, such professional and nice guys! We’re staying here now, and it’s been a wonderful experience. The hillside setting is stunning, with sweeping views of the ocean and tropical forest. The beach is about 1.5 km away, but the peaceful setting and scenery make the location feel even more special. Everything is clean, fresh, and well cared for. The staff are exceptionally friendly, attentive, and ready to help, and they make you feel welcome.

We especially appreciated the restaurant right on site. It was excellent and made everything feel both easy and special. The team were consistently friendly and helpful, with a special mention for Aldo, who welcomed us and patiently answered our questions throughout the stay. Tierra Magnifica gave us exactly the relaxing, comfortable time we wanted in Guanacaste. Morning yoga followed by breakfast was a perfect way to start each day, and the views are stunning from every part of the property. There were thoughtful touches too, including free laundry, which is especially useful in the humidity. We’d happily return and highly recommend staying here.

The views are exquisite, and the restaurant was outstanding. Every breakfast and dinner we had was top notch, though the service sometimes ran slowly and was good overall. The rooms are badly in need of renovation, and the mattress and pillows felt poor quality for the price. Something is missing to make this place a true gem. The concierge team seemed overwhelmed and couldn’t quite follow through, the excursions were overpriced, and the staff lacked clear leadership and direction. We stayed down the road for half the cost and found it much better value than what we paid here.

Morning yoga, the delightful pool, and phenomenal food made each day a pleasure. Every meal and drink was 10/10, and the included breakfast was filling and fantastic. The views and grounds were even more beautiful in person. The hourly shuttle into town was easy to use and always on time. Most of all, the staff were welcoming, kind, professional, and helpful. We loved chatting with them and learning about their lives and culture. They also took care of so many logistics, from the shuttle and booking tuk tuks to answering questions quickly on WhatsApp. They work so hard and are always kind. It was a peaceful, restorative stay, and we hope to come back someday.
