This is our favorite place to stay on the central Pacific. It's affordable and right on the beach, and scarlet macaws are almost always nearby. Don Emilio and doña Jasmine are excellent hosts.

We stayed for twelve days and eleven nights, and loved it. The small apartment had a kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, and patio, plus there's a pool. Every morning they brought a fantastic fresh breakfast to our patio. The location is phenomenal, just steps from the ocean and tucked back from the road in a peaceful, secluded spot that feels like a slice of heaven.

Emilio was very protective of the hotel guests, and the beach and grounds were kept clean. We loved the clean hotel and how close it was to the beach. The hosts were friendly and met all our expectations, so we have no complaints. We made so many great memories here, and we're already planning when to come back to Costa Rica and stay again. I can't wait to bring my kids!

I don't even know where to start, this place is paradise. The hosts were wonderful, serving breakfast every morning and going above and beyond when we had vehicle trouble, several times. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The pool was clean and beautiful, and the beachfront access felt private. We fell asleep to the ocean right outside our door and woke to the sight and sound of macaws perched in the tree. I'd recommend it to anyone, and hope I get to return.
