Casa Buddha

The pool was a favorite, with a private space for the house, an outdoor shower, and a BBQ. The beach is only a 10-minute walk through the neighborhood, though I could’ve happily spent the whole day in the pool. Casa Buddha had everything we wanted and more, with so much charm. Coming up the entry to the porch felt like a fairy tale, and the hanging chair and hammock made it my favorite place to relax any time of day. It was lovely for watching the sunrise and listening to, or sometimes spotting, howler monkeys, birds, and butterflies. We stayed in the main house, with great views all around and floor-to-ceiling windows to enjoy the outdoors while cooling off inside with a little AC. We slept so well that we came home and bought those wonderfully soft bamboo sheets that stay cool all night. Daisy was a great host. She helped arrange rides to and from the airport and pointed us toward sights and nearby places to eat, with yummy, healthy options just next door or around the corner. I could keep going, and you’ll see why when you start your own adventure here. Thank you, Daisy! We’ll be back.
