The food was amazing, some of the best we ate during our whole Costa Rica trip. It's cooked to order in their own kitchen. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were spotless and comfortable, with fabulous valley views. We stayed in the lovely Deluxe Suite, whose very unusual bathroom added to its charm. Poas National Park is easy to get to from here. A wonderful place all around, highly recommend.

The owner made the interior himself, with details like a tree-shaped fireplace and a grotto-style shower. He's a real artist, and also serves wonderful food. We had tuna steak and filet mignon for dinner, both delicate and reasonably priced. Our very large room had excellent furniture and a lovely view right from the bed. The place is full of thoughtful details, and the views are stunning. A fantastic stay near Volcano Poas.

The view of the Poas Volcano was beautiful, and the rooms were really clean. It even started erupting while we were there, which added to the experience. We still felt completely safe and could enjoy everything without danger. The host was super welcoming and helpful throughout the trip. Each morning we looked forward to the chef's delicious typical Costa Rican breakfast. For dinner, we had the best ceviche we've ever tasted, and the desserts were phenomenal. Such a memorable, unique stay at Poas Paradise. Highly recommend!

The owners were really welcoming, kind, and helpful. It's a beautiful place with lovely ambience and landscapes, and very close to poas volcano and la paz waterfalls.
