The grounds were clean and attractive, and we felt security was good with plenty of parking. The pool was clean and nice too, although it closed early at 7pm. It was about a 10 minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the grocery store. Our unit itself was clean and pleasant, but some basics were missing: no dish soap, sponge, spatula, or blankets. It wasn't a disaster, but I didn't expect to buy soap and a sponge just to wash dishes in a rental with a kitchen. The other five places we stayed on this trip had those things. Reception eventually gave us blankets after a conversation of about 15 minutes. On arrival, we had to walk all the way to the back carrying our luggage and groceries, with someone escorting us. When we asked about a cart or a ride in a golf cart, we were told neither was available. We later found out they do have luggage and grocery carts.

The rooms are fine, but the service and attention to detail were awful. Front desk staff were rude, and the hotel left out basic things like blankets, extra pillows, and kitchenette cleaning supplies. My husband asked for a dish sponge and was told it would cost extra. What kind of hotel does that?

Costa Rica was a great trip overall, but this hotel was a low point because the front desk staff were rude and unhelpful. The room had no blankets, extra pillows, or kitchenette cleaning supplies. After I cooked and asked for a sponge and dish soap, they said I could buy them at the store or pay the hotel for them.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving during the coronavirus. The room was dirty when we arrived, there was no soap, and the bed had only sheets, no blankets. The Wi-Fi details in the room were incorrect. I was freezing all night without a blanket and couldn't sleep at all. Easily the worst place I've ever paid $100 a night for. They have two listings for what is the same place.
