Puerto Carrillo Sunset B&B

The hosts made this stay especially lovely. They were warm, attentive, and so friendly. Our room was dated, but very roomy and spotlessly clean, the cleanest we came across on our trip. The pool was fantastic and the sea view incredible. We were here with our 3-year-old and 5-month-old, and had a truly wonderful time.

The breakfast and service were the highlights, with Doña Urania and Don Nelson being incredibly kind. We also loved the peace and the panoramic view. The beach nearby is spacious, though take care in the sections where the waves pick up; the first part was calmer. Police officers were on the beach when we visited on August 1st. Excellent stay, 10 out of 10.

A spectacular view, and the beach was clean and beautiful too. The apartments were pleasant and very clean, with breakfast included. They have space for five people and are a good price. Getting there was easy for any kind of vehicle. I really liked it.

The best part was how peaceful it felt, one of the calmest places I've stayed in a long time. We hadn't booked or known anything about the place, but met the owners Nana and Ignacio while they were there on business. After talking for a bit, we decided to stay the night, and it turned out to be a great choice. The room for five was clean, with comfortable beds and pillows. There's also a lovely house for ten, fully equipped and spacious, with a homey feel and big windows facing the sea. The pool is small but charming, tucked into a nice spot for spending time together, watching the sunset, or looking at the stars. The view is wonderful at sunrise and sunset. Playa Carrillo is a one-minute drive or five-minute walk away. I fell for Playa Carrillo on my first visit, and having a place so close makes me want to come back even more. We will!
