The owners were warm and kind from the moment I arrived, and made me feel truly welcome. Meals were all incredible, fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. The chef even made a special vegetarian lunch that was one of the best meals I’ve had in Costa Rica. The place feels full of care and authenticity, from the people to the food and atmosphere. Its open spaces look over the mangroves and river, with the ocean audible in the background. A really unforgettable stay at this beachfront hidden gem.

If you’re heading to the pier early in the morning, the location works well. The place itself was a bit dirty, though, so otherwise you might want to look elsewhere.

We picked this place while arranging an overnight Corcovado tour, since we needed somewhere to leave our vehicle and belongings. It’s right by the pier, with the beach nearby, good restaurants around, and nice staff. The room had air conditioning and a refrigerator. At the time, four nights cost $350, which I thought was great value.

The ocean view from these beautiful cabins was stunning, and the bathrooms were amazing. Everyone working here gave exceptional service, especially Don Alexis, who was so kind and friendly. We rented a kayak right at the property and paddling on the pristine sea was beautiful. I wholeheartedly recommend the cabins. I stayed a few days ago.
