Hotel Inn Jimenez

Katya treated us like family and made our time there special. The place was spotless, with lovely gardens and a cool pool, and birds enjoyed the feeders and trees. We had to leave before 5:30 am for a tour, so skipped breakfast, but Katya had coffee ready for us. She also let us use the kitchen to prepare food for the next day, stored our bags, and let us leave our vehicle while we hiked in Corcovado. This was our favourite place to stay in Costa Rica, and when we return to Puerto Jimenez, we'll stay longer at Inn Jimenez Bed & Breakfast.

Katya knows so much about the town and the surrounding area, which was a real gift. The family running this charming hotel were so kind. The rooms were clean and had A/C, making it a perfect stop in this fascinating little traditional town.

The pool was lovely, and our room was just right, clean and cool. After being without A/C and a clean space for so long, arriving here felt like such a relief, and we were welcomed as soon as we came in. Katya and her husband were lovely and made us feel at home. She spoke Spanish and English, which helped, and gave us great tips for lunch, laundry, drinks and good guacamole. Everything was walkable, including the airport, which we walked to early the next morning for our flight. We were so grateful for this place.

A fantastic B&B in a sleepy harbor town with dirt roads. The managers were lovely, friendly and helpful, and everything was within walking distance. We also had a great whale watching trip in the bay, following a mother and baby whale as they put on a three-hour show.
