We spent all seven days here and loved every minute. It was incredibly beautiful and close to nature, at times almost like camping, but we still had comfy beds and fans. Our living quarters had no bug or pest problems, and the open-area floors were swept daily. They provided a 5-gallon water bottle, and guests can exchange it at the grocery store, which was convenient. The hosts quickly answered our questions and were helpful with planning activities. Privacy was never a problem. I enjoyed chatting with them and practicing my Spanish whenever we crossed paths. We met three hosts over the week, Elfer, Pascal, and Manuel, and all were kind. Manuel's knowledge of animals and his love of wildlife and Mother Earth really came through. Having the very private beach right across the street was wonderful. We'd planned and paid for a boat ride and snorkeling, a fishing trip, a night hike, and a Corcovado Park tour. We didn't have time for everything, but I'd especially recommend Corcovado National Park and the night tour, when we saw the most wildlife. My family loved the fishing trip, and we ate fresh tuna for two days! We arrived without plans, but had no trouble arranging things once there. I wish we'd had time for kayaking and horseback riding too. The heat took some getting used to. I was fine with it as part of the experience, though my kids and husband wished for AC at times. It didn't affect our stay, but keep your travel companions' comfort in mind. Some people complain a lot, and this place is too beautiful for that. I've been home for two weeks and keep thinking, when can I go back?!

The mangroves are right behind the house, so I rented a kayak and paddled around them. I stayed for three nights and loved it. The owners were so welcoming, and the view across Golfo Dulce is incredible. The beach is only about 20 meters away. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Birds are everywhere in the foliage around the property, and the beach is very close by. Inside, everything was comfortable, clean, and easy to find. It’s simply a perfect place to stay, and I can’t say enough about how exceptional the living quarters are.

We rented the whole house for our group of four, so there was plenty of room and a very private beach. It’s open air, with screened bedrooms, and we had no bugs in the bedrooms. The views and property are beautiful, and everyone was kind and helpful. Dax, the cute house dog, was a favorite. There’s a house attendant and housekeeper around regularly if you need anything, and booking a single room would have been easy and comfortable too. We spotted tons of wildlife, including macaws, toucans, capuchins, and jaguarundi, and enjoyed the little trails nearby. A special thanks to Sandro, the housekeeper. He was so helpful and even treated us to pipas frias and fresh eggs from the chicken coop.

My son and I stayed for 11 days, and I’m already hoping to come back soon. The place is the last house on the Playa Preciosa beach road, about a 15 minute drive from town. The water was calm and good for swimming, with tropical forest and beach almonds all around. We saw lots of wildlife, including four pairs of scarlet macaws. The house and property were superb, as were the people. A caretaker was there around the clock and helpful without getting in the way. The owner set up a WhatsApp group, and he and his partner answered our questions quickly.
