We were just a five-minute drive from Palma Beach, and this restaurant turned out to be a lovely surprise. There aren't many places to eat around here, and I was wary after a bad experience elsewhere, but the ceviche, nachos, and fish were all fresh, beautifully presented, and excellent. Even the salad came with proper dressing, oils, vinegar, and spices. We loved it and highly recommend it.

Don Julio can arrange a fishing trip or a tour around the gulf. We went to several beaches, fished, and even saw turtles, it was an excellent experience. The food is very good too: the pizzas and whole fish are worth trying, and the rice dishes are delicious and reasonably priced. We didn't stay in the cabins, but they looked comfortable and are well located near several beaches.
