Conga Boutique Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at the Conga Boutique Hotel, and the staff’s hospitality really stood out. They were warm and attentive and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at a hotel, fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented each morning. The rooms were stylish and spotless, with very comfortable beds. Don’t skip the massage, it was pure bliss. Great vibes and excellent service.

The hotel’s green surroundings were lovely, and the small pool was a beautiful place to cool off. Our room wasn’t huge, but the beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed. The breakfast tasted good and was prepared with care, and the staff were so kind and friendly.

We felt safe, at home, and really well looked after at the Conga Boutique hotel. Every day was lovely, and leaving was hard. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, and on the hottest days we cooled off in both the pool and the ocean. The staff were all so friendly and always pointed out monkeys, frogs, and sloths on the property so we wouldn’t miss them. One morning we watched 20-30 monkeys swing above us across the hotel, then settle down for a nap for a few hours. When we arrived, we were each given a fresh coconut. When we left, the staff took a cute Polaroid of us to keep. Puerto Viejo’s downtown was a five-minute walk away, and there was a beach about ten minutes away in either direction. We took a tuk tuk every day, and the hotel suggested a local driver we could call for pickup wherever we were. It was an absolute dream of a trip. 10/10.

We loved the room with the outdoor bath on our deck, and would come back. The hotel is so cute, and the staff are fabulous. When our son got sick, they had a thermometer for us and arranged pool toys for him. The beach and town are an easy walk of a few minutes. This part of the world is amazing, with incredible beach walks, beaches, food, and people. It feels like a step back in time, and having hardly any tourists from abroad was such a bonus, lol.
