We really enjoyed staying at the hostel for a little while. The room and shared areas were lovely, and we especially liked the well-equipped outdoor kitchen and seeing wildlife each morning. Sebastian, the owner, really tries to look after the place, and it gets cleaned every day. We’d definitely return and absolutely recommend it.

At 8 PM, just as we arrived, they canceled on us and left the two of us with nowhere to stay that night. The receptionist was very unpleasant and changed his decision at the last minute. I don’t recommend this place.

It’s easy to get around from here, with the bus right outside and Manuel Antonio close by. There’s a local soda to eat at and three markets for groceries or drinks, plus friendly people. It’s also one of the few hostels with open areas to hang out.

This hostel is cheap and comfortable, and we were surrounded by nature, with lovely trees and plants, monkeys, cats, macaws, and a path overlooking the ocean. The new owners took over in December 2024, and the place has become much nicer and more beautiful. They’re kind and gave us good advice on finding beaches, buses, parks, and whatever else we were looking for. I definitely recommend it!

The staff put a lot of effort into the place, and with their help I had an amazing time visiting Manuel Antonio. The toilets could use some work, but that didn’t take away from a great stay.
