Villas de la Selva

We stayed four nights in room 7 and loved it. The beds were very comfortable, and our HRV watches showed that we slept really well. Cool mornings on the patio became our favorite part. William helped us get tickets to the national park, and we saw monkeys on the roof and parrots flying around.

We were all sorry to leave after three nights. The patio and its incredible view were a highlight, and the room itself was clean, comfortable, and lovely. We cooked several meals in the kitchen, too. Saimon was so kind and helpful. Knowing we hoped to see a sloth, he came to get us when one showed up in a tree by the parking lot. We also spotted monkeys, sloths, and a pair of scarlet macaws flying past one morning. The hotel is close to a wonderful restaurant, beach access, and Manuel Antonio National Park. I can't wait to come back!

We saw more wildlife at Villas de la Selva than anywhere else in Costa Rica. The views in Manuel Antonio are beautiful, and you can get around easily by bus. The hotel sits on a hill, though, so walking much can be exhausting, especially in the humidity. William was always available when we needed him and so helpful. You won't be disappointed. PURA VIDA

The balcony made up for the room being small and basic, especially since we stayed a whole week. From there, the view was stunning, and we watched so many animals and birds it felt like an open nature park. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, and the pool had both sunny and shaded spots where we could relax and listen to the wildlife. The area around the property is steep, so walking takes some fitness, though there are several restaurants nearby.
